1-10 NUMBER ALLIGATOR PUZZLE

This Chunky 1" inch  Rubber wood puzzle is designed for kids to learn the sequence of numbers from one to ten by fixing the puzzle in number order to make up the puzzle.

The puzzle comes with numbers and the numbers in words on the front . On the reverse the puzzle is with dots replacing the numbers .

The pieces of the puzzle are chunky to ensure that they can be easily grasped by children .

Math Skills

This Puzzle  teaches children several basic math concepts as well. While working with a puzzle children learn to categorize and organize pieces while doing that they are able to classify and label the pieces as well.

They gain the ability to think abstractly when they are able to see negative space, like the space where a puzzle piece may fit, and figure out what type of shape would be needed to fill that space.

Material Description

The geometric shape tray  is a wooden tray with  6  frames of the basic shapes . It  consist of the 6 basic  shapes Square Round Triangle Rectangle Oval and Star  The insets have a large  knob in the center for easy handling by very young children.

Each  frame can be removed and used  for tracing basic shapes . Even the puzzle inner pcs can be used for drawing the shapes by drawing along the outer edges

Uses :

      

1.This is the material which introduces the child to geometry. This level the child is introduced to the basic shapes which are available in nature. This is because with these 6  basic shapes the child can make many more shapes. Use the pcs to teach the child the shapes by naming each shape and by running the finger around the edges to  learn the shape

2.The frames and pieces can be removed and used for tracing  . Child develops the awareness of the environment, pre-writing skill is enhanced while the child traces the shapes.

3. BASIC SHAPE PUZZLE –

The Pieces  can be removed and used as a basic shape puzzle also the plates and be moved to different places so as to ensure the child learns the shape.

Made from Rubber wood with wooden beads.Available in attractive colours.

Each bead is 18 mm in diameter

This is designed to teach children the basics of counting from 1-10 .

Move each wooden bead from right to left  counting the number of beads . Under each bead
will be the corresponding number for the child to identify .
Both sides  are numbered so that it can be used with either side to count .

This could be  used for basic children's fist addition and subtractions as shown in the images below.

PUSH A LONG TRAIN

Trains are ever popular toys for kids . This train by Wood 4 Kidz has been designed on the old fashion  steam train .

The train is made from  Rubber Wood  and consist of an Engine - Coal carriage and Passenger Car . Each  section is made from a solid block of Rubber Wood 25 mm thick so as to ensure no small parts . The train consist of 3 figures (one engine driver and two passengers) figures can be removed  through the holes at the top so that children have the fun of removing the figures and inserting them back 

The wheels are made from MDF and secured with round head screws to ensure no sharp edges

Each carriage is attached to each other by a chord .

All paints used are NON TOXIC and are thus child safe .
